The Whistle

The Whistle (El Silbón) is a tense 2D survival horror game that plunges you into darkness to face the terrifying vengeful wanderer of Venezuelan folklore.

The Story You play as Andreas, an off-duty paramedic whose car breaks down late at night. Seeking help, he enters an isolated cabin only to be knocked unconscious. Awakening alone, disoriented, and with a dying flashlight, you discover you are trapped in the domain of El Silbón. Your only goal: escape with your life.

Key Features:

• The Folklore Whistle Paradox: Dynamic 3D audio attenuation challenges your senses in real time. If the legendary whistling sounds distant, the monster is right next to you; if it sounds loud and clear, you are safe for now.
• Light & Shadow Management: Navigate the dense darkness with a volumetric directional flashlight. Beware: your battery drains continuously, and your light will instantly catch El Silbón's attention from across the room.
• Real-Time Puzzles: While El Silbón physically patrols the cabin, you must pick locks, pry barricades, and repair electrical panels through active minigames. The threat never stops.
• Tactical Stealth: Hide inside wardrobes or under tables to lose your pursuer, or scavenge items to throw and stun him. But be careful: there is a 20% chance your attack will trigger a lethal Berserk rush!
• Realistic Inventory: You have a single-slot inventory, meaning you can only carry exactly one active tool at a time. Strategically drop and swap items to plan your escape.
• Dynamic AI: Inspired by Alien: Isolation, a "Director AI" evaluates your tension and guides the monster through the cabin using A* Pathfinding, ensuring an organic and unpredictable hunt.
